We’re thrilled to introduce eight adorable baby pigs born right here at JKLM Farm—a heartwarming blend of charm, character, and curiosity. These piglets are a unique cross between a Kune Kune pig and our beloved farm pig, Peppa, who is doing a fantastic job as a first-time mama.
Peppa, known around the farm for her gentle nature and hearty appetite, gave birth to her litter in the early hours of the morning, and we’ve been swooning ever since. Each piglet brings its own little personality to the group, with some showing the short, round snouts and easy-going temperament of the Kune Kune breed, and others taking after their mother’s more traditional farm-pig traits—sturdy builds, alert eyes, and a curious spirit.
The mix of genetics has created a beautiful variety of markings and colors across the litter. Some are dark and sleek, others patchy and pink, and a few have that irresistibly fuzzy coat that Kune Kunes are known for. Their little grunts and playful tumbles are already becoming the soundtrack of our mornings.
These piglets are more than just cute—they represent the next generation of our sustainable farming efforts. Kune Kune pigs are known for their friendly nature and pasture-based grazing habits, making them ideal for small-scale and ethical farming practices. Combined with the hardiness and versatility of traditional farm pigs, we’re excited to see how this litter grows and thrives on our land.
Stay tuned as we share updates on their growth, names (yes—we’re naming them!), and plenty of piglet photos. If you’re nearby, drop by to see them in person—they’re even cuter in real life!
From our family at JKLM Farm to yours—welcome to the pig pen! 🐽❤️
